Faster Than Ever, Harder Than Expected: What Happens When AI Runs Your Innovation Playbook

Market Logic joined Informa’s Front End of Innovation (FEI) Summit, co-located with TMRE 2026. The session recording is not available yet — we will add it to this page as soon as it is ready.

Title: Faster Than Ever, Harder Than Expected
Date: Tuesday, 6th October 2026
Time: 10:45 – 11:10 AM
Location: Colorado Convention Center | Denver, CO

Event Details:

Most people began their AI journey with two expectations: that it would be instant, and that it would do the thinking. It was neither. Agents are capable of reading an entire research corpus—but it takes them take minutes, not seconds. Then, what comes back is not a handful of digestible takeaways, but rather dense, evidence-backed proposals that it is up to you to work through.

Yet, if we compare this to the timelines that innovation leaders usually work in, this is the fastest front-end process most teams have ever run. Framing that used to take a kickoff workshop happens in an afternoon. Discovering what the company already knows, historically the longest and dullest phase, happens overnight. Whitespace mapping, ideation, concept development and a first round of consumer feedback fit inside a week instead of a quarter.

Olaf Lenzmann co-founded and leads product at Market Logic Software, where his team built DeepSights Innovation Studio — an AI workspace that runs a company’s own innovation methodology, grounded in its own research and foresight partners. Drawing on the first wave of pilots at global consumer-goods companies, he shared what they learned building it and what has changed for the teams using it.

What the session covered:

  • Why AI compresses the front end of innovation by weeks while making individual working hours more demanding — and how to prepare teams for both.
  • Why encoding your innovation methodology, not a generic ideation flow, is what separates systematic exploration from “give me some concepts”.
  • Where human judgment must stay non-negotiable, and how synthetic personas, panels and digital research turn pre-testing into an iterative loop.
